As an Indian seafarer, you can apply for a Schengen visa by following these steps:

Check the VFS Global website of the Schengen country you will be applying for the visa. Complete the visa application form, which can be found on the VFS Global website.

You will be applying for the C type of Transit visa.

How many Days it takes to get Schengen Visa?
Well as i mentioned earlier i got my visa in just 9 days. Howerver it can vary depending on your local address. I believe you should receive it in 15 days all over the country.
What is the Cost to Apply Schengen Visa?
Pay the visa fee, which can vary depending on the Schengen country you will be visiting. The fee or cost may range from 10-11 thousand Rupees for short period.
The total cost of a Schengen visa for Indian seafarers will depend on the visa fee charged by the country you will be visiting and any additional fees charged by the visa processing center.
Documents Required for Schengen Visa?
In general, the following documents are required for a Schengen visa application for Indian seafarers:
- A valid passport with a minimum of two blank pages.
- A completed visa application form.
- passport-sized photograph.
- A seaman's book.
- A letter from the employer stating the purpose and duration of the trip.
- Proof of accommodation and travel itinerary.
- Proof of financial means, such as bank statements with branch Manager Stamp.
- A letter of invitation.
- Aadhar card
- Valid US Visa & previous Schengen visa copy if available.
